Nurse Registry & Home Care in South Florida

Placing nurses, home health aides and caregivers with families who need help at home — hourly, live-in, respite or recovery after a hospital stay.

What this covers

  • Home health aides and CNAs
  • Skilled nursing at home
  • Live-in and overnight care
  • Respite for family caregivers
  • Post-hospital and post-surgical recovery

Before you hire

Ask this of anyone you are considering for the work — including someone who is not a LEO member:

  • How are caregivers screened, licensed and supervised?
  • What happens if our regular caregiver is sick or unavailable?
  • What is the plan during a hurricane warning or an evacuation order?

What's different in South Florida

South Florida has a large population of older adults whose adult children live somewhere else entirely, and that shapes what good care looks like here — communication back to a family member in another state matters nearly as much as the care itself. Hurricane season adds a real planning question: what happens to someone who cannot easily evacuate, who decides, and who carries it out. Ask about it in June, not in September.
