Purpose
This agreement sets out what it means to be a member of Leaders Exchanging Opportunities (LEO), a referral group of business owners who meet every other Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Duffy's Sports Grill in Boca Raton.
Eligibility
Membership is open to the owner or a principal of a business serving South Florida, in an industry not already held by another member.
One member per category
Each member holds one exclusive business category. A profession with clear-cut sub-categories may be split into separate categories, but no two members hold the same one.
Attendance
Members are expected to attend the group's lunch meetings, held every other Tuesday at 12:00 noon.
Dues
Dues are EMPTY, billed EMPTY.
Referrals
Members pass along referrals in good faith. A name given to a fellow member should already have been prepped by the member giving it, not handed over as a cold contact. Members follow up on referrals they receive and report back on how they went.
Conduct
Members are expected to represent their own business honestly, treat other members' referrals with the same care they would want for their own, and conduct themselves in a way that reflects well on the group.
Listing consent
By joining, a member agrees to be listed on the group's website with their name, business, category, and the contact details they choose to provide. A member can ask to have their listing corrected or changed at any time.
Use of the group's name
Members may identify themselves as a member of Leaders Exchanging Opportunities in their own marketing. The group's name may not be used to imply an endorsement, partnership, or authority beyond membership itself.
Leaving
A member may leave the group at any time by telling the group. The notice period required before a member's seat is considered open again is EMPTY.
Amendment
This agreement may be changed by the group. Changes take effect after EMPTY notice to members and are adopted by EMPTY of members.
Acknowledgement
By joining, a member confirms they have read this agreement and agree to the terms above.
