Before you hire
Ask this of anyone you are considering for the work — including someone who is not a LEO member:
- Which loan products actually fit a business shaped like mine?
- What documentation do you need, and how long does approval realistically take?
- Who is my contact after the account is open?
What's different in South Florida
A lot of Palm Beach County businesses are seasonal, family-owned, or both, and their revenue does not look like the textbook. That shape can make automated underwriting say no where a banker who knows the market would say yes. Someone who understands that a business earning most of its money between November and April is not in trouble in July is frequently worth more than a slightly better rate.
