What's different in South Florida
Florida has one of the largest individual health markets in the country, and plans differ most in their provider networks rather than their headline premium. Check that your doctors are in network for the specific plan, not the carrier generally. Disability coverage is the one most often skipped by self-employed people here, which is backwards: for an owner, the income is the asset.
